As you know, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's contemporary line, The Row, is named after the famous Savile Row of London, a shopping street in central London known for its custom-made tailoring. We can always count on Alexander McQueen to do the unexpected. With his diffusion line McQ 's Spring ad campaign, McQueen definitely threw me for a loop . . . so much that I had to share. Rather than depicting the clothes in his collection, the photos focus on a group of all-American cheerleaders, right down to the colors of their uniforms. Supposedly , the collection has sport-based silhouettes, hence the connection; are you buying it? Source Fab Ad: McQ Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 I love it for being so unexpected!

My dearest readers, I have finally been able to take a break with all my strutting and sashaying to bring you highlights of the last two of the big five fashion shows - Milan and Paris. And wow what a trip it was. My feet are super tired and super swelled. I didn't think they could get any bigger, but apparently, they can.

Rumors are swirling that McQ could be latest designer to collaborate with Targets Go International program a showcases capsule collections by guest designers. wwd is reporting that according to industry sources, the British designer is in talks to work on a collection for the Minneapolis-based retailer.
